I have a fulfilled request for you today! This actually took way longer then expected but I learned so much!
The original mesh is by Ogularama which I tried to touch up a little. I ended up rebuilding about half of the mesh and reworking the UVMap hoping to make it easier to recolor. I then converted it into a lamp. I slaved the deco version (the original mesh) to the Lamp version so you need to have the lamp in game for the deco version to show up. The deco version also uses the same GUID as the original so you will need to remove that before putting these into your downloads folder.
The deco version is found under sculptures for 1500§ and the lamp is under floor lamps for the same price. The poly count for the deco version is 3965 and the lamp version is 4136. They are a little on the high side so be warned.
Oh my, thank you! I just thought about recolouring this a few days ago and found out it wasn't recolourable, so this definitely comes in handy :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. If you decide to recolor it still then make sure you recolor the lamp mesh (the one marked MASTER) or else it won't work. I also tried to make the UVMap a little more recolor friendly but it is still a little crazy.
DeleteFar better than the one I did and converted to Sims 3. This one's so much more realistic. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like it. I don't really keep up with the sims 3 but I'm sure yours was fantastic :)
DeleteMy sister would freak out if she saw this...if she was into TS2 that is xD
ReplyDeleteHehe! There is a Sims 3 Dalek out there somewhere. I have seen it in pictures on tumblr many times.
DeleteDalek! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm supposed to prove I'm not a robot to comment, and I said "What if I'm a dalek?"
LOL :)
