All downloads on this blog are for The Sims 2 and sometimes The Sims 4 only. They will not work with The Sims 3.
If you would like to convert them for either Sims 3 or Sims 4 then please feel free to do so. All I ask is that no TSR or Adfly be used with them and for you to send me a link so I can enjoy them too :)

-I am trying to add links to any Sims 3 conversions that I know of. If there isn't one linked at the top of the original post then either there isn't one or I haven't seen the conversion yet. If you know of some then please let me know :)-

Some Downloads were removed by Mediafire and I have contacted them. If you run into something you want that is gone let me know and I will upload it somewhere else. Everything should be back ASAP.

Chesterfield Inspired Bed Set

*A Sims 3 conversion of this set can be found at KitKat Simsporium*

Today I have a small set for you. It was inspired by a Chesterfield bed I saw and fell in love with. I used the repository technique a lot in this set.

Let me explain what is slaved to what...

The single bed is slaved to the double bed so you need that in game for the single to show up. The patterned blanket is slaved to Jonesi's wonderful blanket so any recolors you have of it will show up on this one as well. I included her mesh for convenience. The pillows at the head of the bed are slaved to both Jonesi's blanket and Eaxis bedding. The small slumpy pillow is slaved to Jonesi's blanket and the blanked over the end of the bed and the pillow resting on it are also slaved to both Jonesi's blanket and Eaxis bedding.

I told you it was a lot, but no worries! I included all the meshes you need for everything to work. Just plop these into your downloads folder and away you go.

I also made a simple bedding recolor to go with the set. Everything is already at the perfect height so there are no needs for OMSPs, just make sure you have "move_objects on".

Everything should be base game compatible. I included the UVmap for the bed and a collection file for those who might want them.

  1. This is absolutely fabulous! Thank you <3

  2. That bed is simply gorgeous! Thank you!

  3. This is beautiful! I'm sure I will use it a lot :)

  4. wow. perfect,beautiful - speechless.

  5. I loved the bed instantly, but when I put the folder in my mods folder, it sloooooooowed my game down to an unplayable level (my comp is high powered and brand new) and then after all that, the beds didnt even show up :(

So sad cause they are so gorge!

    1. I'm sorry you are having such trouble with them. The beds are the same poly counts as most Eaxis beds so they shouldn't slow down your computer. I have had no problems with them and my computer is a few years old. I also haven't heard any other complaints about them. Make sure they are really the cause of your game slowing down and not some other piece of cc. Usually hairs are the bad doer in my game since they tend to be really outrageously high in polys. Remember to clear you .cache files as well.

Also these are for SIMS 2 of you play SIMS 3 then please go here and download the conversion:

  6. Thank you so much, they're beautiful!

  7. Hey~ I'm not sure if you still check this, but - I'm also having trouble with these. I had issues in a house where I put one of the beds, the sims kept resetting themselves and this happened after I downloaded these (along with nearly all your other sutff, which are amazing by the way). After separating my whole downloads folder I ended up finding out that yes, they are the problem. More specifically, the meshes for the beds.

I'm no modder so I don't know what could possibly be wrong, but they are making sims reset themselves when put in a house.

    1. I really don't know why you are having trouble. Maybe they have a conflict with one of your other objects (same guid number). I'm pretty sure they are base game compatible but maybe not. That might cause trouble as well. I will take a look and see if there is anything that I can do to solve the problem.

I've been using the beds with no problems in a clean version of the game with no other cc plus in my normal game with no problems. I always test drive objects before releasing them. So I know they work in my game...

But like I said I will check the packages and see if there is something in there that might shed some light on the problem.

Thank you for letting me know.

  8. Hmm, I'm playing with every expansion pack and stuff pack installed so the problem can't be lack of a expansion pack. Conflict was my first thought because my downloads folder is huge, but since I had to pin down what exactly was causing the conflict that means in the end I had clean downloads, neighborhood, etc folders and only these installed. Nothing for it to conflict with. :(

And thank you very much for your time and patience.

    1. I haven't found anything yet but I will keep looking.

Are you using a laptop? I use to have tons of problems playing sims on mine. Maybe they are to high of polys? They shouldn't be but you never know...

I really wish I knew where to even begin fixing this. I will keep looking and asking others that might now but for now I have no answer.

  9. These are beautiful. I love your work. Thank you.

  10. Thank you so much for sharing your work. This is beautiful.

  11. Is this a .simpack or .package ?

    1. These are .packages. Just a reminder, these are for Sims 2. A Sim 3 conversion can be found at the link at the top of the post.
